BlackBerry Unlock Instructions

1 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card press Select - or - Options -> Advanced Options -> SIM Card.

2 - While holding the SHIFT key, type MEPD or MEPPD for BlackBerry 7100/8100 (Nothing shows on screen when you type this).

3 - You should now see the five locking categories listed (picture below).

4 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type MEP2 or MEPP2 for BlackBerry 7100.

5 - Release the shift key.

6 - You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts left)

7 - Enter the code

8 - Enter Return/Enter

9 - The device will then be unlocked

Features & Requirements
Requirements: Before ordering your unlocking credentials make sure your phone has compatible firmware for unlocking. Some older Firmware versions are not compatible. You can check your firmware version by going to the SETTINGS, then ABOUT menu. Minimum version must be 4.0.X.XXX. (useful links for upgrading - click here) You will require the standard USB data cable that ships with BlackBerry phones.
